Interior Design Case Study: Los Angeles Office

Our client enlisted our help to transform a narrow loft into a truly unique work environment that inspires his employees and clients. This California office is modern, upbeat, and pushes the boundaries of the conventional work space. Working closely with the CEO, we were able to achieve a great balance that is both fun and functional.
Before

We wanted to showcase the unique architecture of the space. Exposed beams and hardwood floors creates a warm environment that makes employees and visitors feel welcome. By using a floating floor plan, we were able to optimize space without making the room feel small. The design created a comfortable and functional space.
Floor Plan

The space is long and narrow with a separate upstairs loft office and balcony. The main floor is used for employees and meetings, while the other spaces are used for break rooms and recreational areas. It was important to our client to combine the work environment with the laid-back atmosphere of the West Coast. By having the large main level devoted to work and using the rest of the spaces for recreation, we were able to create the perfect L.A. work environment.

Using the city as inspiration, we wanted to create work areas that focuses on free expression and unique design elements. Using bright colored chairs paired with a simple desk, gave life to our vision. Adding spacers gave employees a personal area while still being able to work closely with their neighbors.
